| Surf is
the founding sire of our LaManchas. He improved
milk production although only his yearling
daughters were on test, so his record does not
reflect what he did for us. We also did not LA
at that time, but we did HES. He had 1 CH dau
who was also 2001 Res. All-American and 1
daughter with 2 CH legs. He improved legs, back,
rear udder height and arch, udder floor and
width thru out. nearly all our does go back to
him. We plan to use him in the near future via
AI!! |

Anemone was our 1st Champion and is sadly
missed! She has left a great legacy in our herd,
having 1 GCH daughter who has been BDIS several
times and 1 SG descendant so far. She was never
LA'ed or on test, but she would have done well
at both. She is dam of both Apple (LA 90, Top
Ten and All-American) and Promise (LA 91). |

Jemima is
another beautiful daughter of Surf. She earned 2
legs toward her Championship at 7 years
old (pictured), unfortunately we lost her during
kidding the next spring. She was long and level
backed with better attachment and production
than her dam, strong feet and legs and good
width. Jemima is dam to T-and-P Kane's Stormy
and twin sister to T-and-P Surf's Judah, who
produced Peaches, Reuben and Rumallah all of
whom have offspring in our herd. |

Peaches
was an important doe in our herd. Her daughter,
Spice is an SG and has been RCH several times
and many times 1st in her class. Peaches is also
the dam of our Hot son, Wakontanka. We are
expecting the wide rear udders and level
toplines of his dam and sire from him and have
used him heavily this year. She is also 1/2
sister to Reuben and Rummallah. |

Reward was
a wonderful brood doe, a 1st generation
American, but all of her lovely daughter (and
there weren't that many) were lost as young
milkers. Reward herself was a very productive
doe and earned her * status as an 8 yr old(7-10
274 1730 72 60). This record
was AFTER she had frostbitten the bottom of BOTH
of her teats the year before. She lost part
of them along with her sphincter muscles, so
that she could not hold milk in her udder. She
could only hold 5 lbs without leaking. The udder
pics were at 8 yrs old. She milked 11.2 lbs her
1st test as a 9 yr old (with teat dilators to
hold the milk in and her heart gave out 2 days
later. She is sadly missed, but 2 of her sons
are here and others in other herds. |

Shadow was
very long, level and dairy! All his kids were
improvements over their dams. We lost him before
he was 2 due to a freak snowstorm that totally
buried our buck pen! One of his daughters is an
SG (Spice) and we will be able to use him via
AI. Shadow needs one more daughter to earn her *
to get his +B status. He has 2 daughters with LA
scores, 2-03 88(VE+
V), 4-02 87(+V+V) and 2-03 84(VE++). The pic is
as a yearling. Shadow was so very sweet natured
and improved front legs, rear leg angulation,
topline and dairy character. |

Tiger was
a very promising young buck! We only got a few
does from him and as a yearling he was injured
in a fight with an older buck and we lost him,
something that I have not had happen before (in
30 years of goats). He is sire of SG Vogue, Wine
and Whiskey. His dam, Priscilla, was a beautiful
doe, the next highest LA of the "Slick"
daughters. Priscilla was 3/4 sister to
Promise (LA 91) and Angelfish was 1/2 sister to
both GCH Apple and Promise thru CH Anemone. We
hope those few daughters will be a strong impact
on our herd and hope Tiger's 1/2 brother,
Wakontanka, will produce improved daughters like
Tiger. |

We were
very fortunate to have had Hot and thank Don and
Pat Hendrickson for intrusting him to us! Hot
has 2 Spotlight Sale daughters (both Rocky-Run)
and 3 Reserve All-American granddaughters to his
credit along with several CH daughters. We have
had several daughters with Jr leg wins and the 2
Jr Ch's that we had in '08 were BOTH Hot
granddaughters. We have several Hot daughters
that were born in '07 and '08 after losing ALL
of our Hot daughters from '04. Hot stamps his
offspring with General Appearance and Dairy
Character. He improves width throughout, FEET
and legs, levelness of topline and smoothness of
blending. You will see his name in MANY of our
does and bucks and we look forward to using him
in the future thru the miracle of AI.

Taco came back to
us in the spring of '08 and we are excited to be able to
use him. Taco is in the Young Sire Development Program.
He was producing very loud black and white and broken
sundgau kids in his previous herd. We expect he will
produce long, dairy kids with tight udders and lots of
milk. Watch for his kids next spring as we are using him
on some of our best does. We may be collecting him this
fall. Unfortunately we lost Taco during a month of sub
zero weather. He will be sadly missed. |

| Walkabout is a very
correct son of Zeke. He is very level (which is what his dam
Reward needed to be competitive), sharp and smooth. We expect
him to improve rear udder height, medial, length, rear leg
angulation and production. His dam Reward had a very tightly
attached udder, that had 1st Udder in class wins, even as a 9
year old. She had a 1st test at 9 of 11.1# and shortly after
that test we lost her to heart failure. We have used him on some
of our best does and gotten some very lovely doelings! Daughter,
Yeracruz, was 1x 1st and 1x 2nd in the Jr Kid class in '08. The
escutcheons are very high and wide and we are anxious to see
them fresh! We lost Walkabout during a MONTH long sub-zero
weather and he will be missed! |

Zeke is a very correct son of CH One*Oak*Hill Tweed
Jrupent, who was the 1st place 3 yr old and Best udder
LaMancha at the '03 Nationals and part of the 1st place
Get of Sire. Zeke's sire, Cycas has 9 CH daughters
so far and has had the 3rd place Sr Get at the '03
and 04 Nationals from his 2 and 3 yr old daughters! WOW!!
We are hoping that Zeke will add longer smoother
foreudders to his daughters along with the presence and
style of his dam and paternal half sisters. He has
several daughters with JrCH and RJrCh winners (and 1
JrBIS!!!!) from his 1st kid crop here!!!!! Zeke's
daughters are freshening with GREAT UDDERS and milking
too! Zeke daughter Vivian, has finished her
Championship as a YEARLING and All American!!!!
Another daughter has been BJrDIS in '07!! Zeke is
the 2007

| Promise
is 1/2 sister to Apple and is 75% LaMancha. She is
extremely correct and has shown quite well. As a kid she
was an "ugly duckling" placing 9th the only time shown
(her twin sister was 1st and JrCh). But as a yearling
milker she was 3x 1st, 2x 1st Udder, 2x 1st Produce of
Dam and 1x 2nd. In '03 she was 4x 1st, 3x 1st Udder, 1x
2nd. In '04, Promise was 4x 2nd, 1x RCH, 1x 1st Produce
of Dam, Dairy herd and Breeder's Trio in tough
competition. Unfortunately, Promise developed mastitis
in '05 and has permanent damage to her udder, she is
still a valuable brood doe. We lost Promise during Dec.
'08's sub-zero weather. She will be missed, but we do
have a nice daughter, Yaffa. |

Vogue is such a special doe!! She
was shown at 2 months placing 2x 1st and 1x JrCH! In
'06, she was 3x1st and 1x JrCH as a dry yearling. In '07
she freshened with a lovely, productive mammary, but
developed a severe case of mastitis and recovered
enough to earn her star, but not excel in the show
ring. She was shown 2x with 2x 3rd, 1x 1st udder, behind
herd mates. We expect her to freshen beautifully next
spring! We lost Vogue to pneumonia early in '09. She
will be sadly missed! We do have 2 daughters. |

Wakon
is a handsome guy! He is very long and level with
smooth, sharp shoulders, good legs and FEET. He was being
a brat when we took pics of him. It was late Aug. and he
was telling me he was ready to go work! We are excited
to see some daughters from him in '07!! He will possibly
be collected, but semen will not be available until we
see daughters and maybe not until we see udders. He
is a 3rd generation American, so his offspring from
Purebreds will be Purebred. His maternal sister,
Spice has SG status. Wakon's 1st kids are very nice with
1, Yakira, earning Jr Ch Recorded Grade at her only show this
year and dau., Yonah, is

Yacob is the
LAST natural breeding son of Becca's Too Hot to
Handle! And he is AWESOME! He is tall, wide and
level, both on the move and at rest. His forelegs
are straight and rear legs angular. His toes are
tight and he is deep in the girth. Yacob has a VERY
typy head with excellent breed character and has
that special "air" about him, like royalty! We will
be using him on a few does this fall and collect
him, but hope to use him more next year and possibly
show him. Yacob's dam, Delight, and full sister,
Tiramisu, were awarded SG status in '08! His 1st
daughter freshened with a very lovely udder and we are
anxiously waiting for more to freshen. |
